The days may be cold but your hair color can be HOT this Winter  – and a classy winter hair color is amazingly simple.

Changing your hair color to a darker, warmer red or brunette hair tone will give you a golden glow during dark winter nights and the hot hair colors this winter are red, auburn, brunette, honey and chestnut – all warm hair tones.

For a dramatic effect with multiple tones, we add low lights. This can be achieved with semi-permanent or permanent color and a consultation with our salon colorist will determine which is best for you. Low lights with foils allow any color or combination of colors, with precision control of placement. By varying the depth of the colors we create beautiful and natural looking hair colors, or by using some of the more vivid colors such as fuchsia, purple, or blue…we can really add drama to your winter hair color!

To add depth, dimension and shine we can use a color glaze – a demi-permanent color which means it will fade gradually over time. Color gloss service we can take platinum highlights and diffuse them into ribbons of toffee or buttery caramel in only about one hour. Our salon colorists can also use a glaze to add gold, copper or deep red tones to give new life to lack-luster locks.

Brunette is very popular with celebrities this year – with hints of the glamour of Jackie-O and Audrey Hepburn. And multi-tone hair color is by far the most flattering – so this winter select two shades that will show off your new cut.

You can be as conservative as a single slice of toffee-brown in your fringe or as bold as raspberry tips on your blonde bob. Remember to always have fun with your hair and color!  But, always consult a hair color professional, spend lots of time consulting with your salon colorist, and don’t be afraid to show us photos of what you like and don’t like!
